On May 4, 2008, Bishop Jean-Michel di Falco Léandri of Gap and Embrun promulgated the decree recognizing the supernatural character of the events at Laus, after the assent of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
The apparitions to Benoîte Rencurel began in 1664 and lasted 54 years.
